Start with a project
Every workflow in RankEarly starts with a project. It gives RankEarly the basic context it needs to keep the research relevant.
1
Create a new project
Open your dashboard and click New Project.
2
Add your URL
Paste your homepage, product page, or landing page. It does not have to be a root domain.
3
Review what RankEarly finds
RankEarly identifies your product, audience, competitors, and business goals. Fix anything that looks off, then save.
Run your first research
If you are starting from scratch, begin with Keyword Expansion. It gives you a clearer picture of how people search around one idea and makes the next steps more useful.1
Open Keyword Expansion
From your project, start a new Keyword Expansion run.
2
Describe one idea
Add a feature, topic, or customer question you want to explore. Choose where to save the results in your project.
3
Review the results
Use the results to see how people search for that idea. If the output looks useful, keep building from it.
Choose what to do next
Once you have a project and your first set of results, the next step depends on what decision you are making.Find your positioning
Use Primary Terms when you want to decide how to describe your product or category.
Plan your content
Use Topic Clustering when you want a broader content plan, not just one article.
